Good natural looking lights
I bought about 10 boxes of these about 3 years ago. They have done well although the light dome (translucent plastic) has started to deteriorate as well as the other parts but not on all of them...such that most of the domes are ok. The replacement dome is $1.50 from the manufacture which isn't too bad but if you start replacing parts you might as well buy another 4 pack set. For example the top part with the solar cell is $4 plus shipping. So if you hit them with a weed eater too often you might as well just replace the entire light. These are still one of the best values at $5/light that actually look like the incandescent glow of real electric lights. The stakes are really flimsy. They are fine...except they don't hold up to the weed eater at all but the base piece that goes from the stake to the bottom of the light is really sturdy (thick). I finally figured out a good replacement stake. I got some PVC pipe to fit snugly inside the base. I cut off enough to go into the ground ~8" and then stick up about 6".
Over all I am pleased with the lights because they look so much better than the usual wireless lights.More detail ...
